OPENING WORDS spoken by Jesus Enrique León
Poet
11/25/2004
When memories cease, souls die, when we forget, we close the roads history and there can be continuity in the performance or exercise of humanity.
We hear the sound of bells.
To cultivate the development of the soul of the people, there are great men, hard-core walking routes of the time, eager souvenir makers. That is why this museum opened today warm and alive with the name, the letter and the heart of Pastor Oropeza, a day that it had chosen for this purpose, because today the world is dedicated to abused women, the same why Dr. Pastor Oropeza extended his arms towards a full life, happy children and times to remember.
hear the sound of the bells. 1901

In 1901 "The Three": Baroja, Azorín and Maeztu published his famous Manifesto, Thomas Mann at 26 years is taking its first steps to glory literature, Rudyard Kipling wrote Kim, an ode to India, started the oil boom and Carora born Pastor Oropeza, bachelor at age 15 and medical at 23, Father of pediatrics and child and maternal care. Honest man, a man full to the maximum dimension that can be given to those who give everything for what he believes, and lives to serve as a mission, as but as a truth.

Their attachment to the truth led him to recognize his mistakes without penalty, in 1935 published in the Gaceta Médica de Caracas an article in which he recognized the lack of not having ordered a "Drop Thick "to save a little patient. Feared the darkness of death and therefore was determined to fill us with clarity and we are pleased to inaugurate its purposes the Museum will also be a library, open room where visitors can access information from books that the renowned pediatrician and treasured it came from generation to generation since their ancestors and relatives, books of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, books that scream out loud the advancement of medical science, books touting the thinking of leading intellectuals, poets and storytellers, books that contain its pages, the flight of the clocks and the wisdom of years, books about him and his brother Antonio, books about him and James Curiel, which we are sure will serve as a beacon in this intense sailing. Books of the Good Shepherd, the man born in Carora and became universal by the power of goodness and love.
hear the sound of the bells.
Today there is a Carora that multiplies in freedom and thought, transcending boundaries of ideologies and reminds us that the sun named for Neruda to his name shines on everyone, today there is a Carora that feeds on blood of his people to hold the light and shade of the word that was written in Korean prisons by the pen irreducible Ali Lameda, a Carora is unbuckled human schemes for attaining the highest level ecstasy in the strings that struck Rodrigo Riera, which breaks in virtuosity Alirio Diaz, sun and skin Carora axagua transmuted into polychrome by Julius T. Carora temple to remind us that there are men who are tolling bell to call us to officiate the memory alive and give soul to resume his walk in the footsteps of all. Carora, Pastor Oropeza rings who today calls us and we went to a museum that will never an enclosed space for silence and oblivion. Pastor Oropeza plucks his name and story and we entered the office of his immortality.
